Iga Swiatek has been crowned the 'Baker of the Year' by prominent tennis account, Tennis Bakery who post when players win sets 6-0, 6-1 which prompts either a bagel or a breadstick in tennis terms.

Swiatek despite admitting previously that she doesn't like the term has been the queen of this feat for a while often going from one extreme to the other in terms of sweeping her opponents aside. She leads the tour in 2024 again with 42 sets won 6-0, 6-1 in 2024.

Coco Gauff is second with 34, while Zheng Qinwen is third with 29. Emma Navarro and Aryna Sabalenka round out the top five with 25 and 20. It is also a good gauge of form with Mirra Andreeva, Diana Shnaider and Danielle Collins all also in the top 10.

All of whom have been among the top players on the tour at some point or another during 2024 and despite Swiatek's travails at times, it shows that when she is on it, she is certainly still the best at hitting that top level.
