Iga Swiatek's iconic season achieved another great milestone with the Polish player scoring the most-winning season since Wozniacki in 2017.
The list of events that Swiatek won this year is rather long and it's just a testament to how consistent she has been. Many believed that this season would belong to Ashleigh Barty but she retired leaving Swiatek to dominate the Tour.
It's a shame in a way cause their clashes would have been great to watch but either way, Swiatek is number one, she recently won her 3rd grand slam trophy at the US Open and she now has 58 wins this season. That is the most since 2017 when Wozniacki scored 60 wins. She has a solid chance of eclipsing that total with a good run in Ostrava.
Up next would be Angelique Kerber who had 63 wins in 2016 and Serena Williams who had an amazing 78 wins in 2013. That seems out of reach but it was set by probably the best player of all time so it's you need to quite special to get there.
She plays Caty McNally in the quarter-finals tomorrow.
