World number one Iga Swiatek has admitted that she is not comfortable with cameras following her during normal days.
The 22-year-old has recently been featured in the first episode of the Breaking Points series.
Swiatek was quoted in a report recently where she stated that she only watched her episode and also admitted that after watching it, she realised that she is not comfortable with cameras following her around.
“I only watched my episode,” she said. “Sorry but it was kind of weird watching me on this big TV show. The experience was nice & I learned a lot, but I also learned I’m not 100% comfortable with cameras following me around.
"I wasn’t one of those players who agreed to everything because I didn’t want the crew to be at my house, shooting with my family a lot.”
Swiatek is currently taking part in the Cincinnati Open (Western & Southern Open) where she has already booked her place in the last eight of the competition after beating China’s Qinwen Zheng with a score of 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 on Wednesday.
She is now set to face the reigning Wimbledon champion Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova in the quarterfinal on Friday.
