Paula Badosa has a lot of tennis talent but nobody in her family besides her is actually an athlete which she revealed herself in a recent interview in Rome.
Badosa has been playing really well lately showing some of the best clay tennis we saw from any of the players. She's looking better and better with every match and looks to be a factor at Roland Garros if she keeps playing this well. In an interview with the Tennis Channel at the Rome Open Badosa revealed that her tennis talent didn't come from any family:
“No, no, no, he danced as well but yeah, they were working like in another thing and I’m the only athlete in my family to be honest. But yeah, I’m happy that now they know about tennis a little bit so that’s a good part."
She's the only athlete in the family with no other member having anything to do with sports as both of her parents were doing creative things, primarily fashion which is one of the reasons she was born in New York before moving to Barcelona at age seven.
