Iga Swiatek will face Elena Rybakina at the Rome Open and she's expecting a proper challenge and is hoping to have a good match and ultimately win.
Swiatek has had her problems with Rybakina in the past few matches that they played and she certainly has an added motivation after the painful loss to Rybakina in Melbourne. Being on a surface that suits her more than Rybakina, Swiatek should feel confident but she still expects a proper challenge:
“It’s not going to be easy.. She’s in great shape this season. It’s going to be challenging, but I’m ready for it & we’ll see how it’s gonna go. I still feel really comfortable on clay so I hope it’s gonna be a nice match”
The match is the final match on the programme on Wednesday so don't expect an early start though the wait should be quite worth it in the end.
