American Jennifer Brady has hired Andrew Bettles, the ex-coach of Elina Svitolina and is scheduled to begin working with him once she returns to the court.
Bettles spent five years working with Svitolina before the pair split amicably in 2021, with the Ukrainian making the announcement on Twitter in mid-October.
“After 5 years and 11 titles together!! Andy and I both agreed it was the right time to move our separate ways," wrote Svitolina.
I am very thankful for all his hard work and endless support. I wish him only the best in his future career!"
Brady finished runner-up to Naomi Osaka in last year's Australian Open final but has not taken to the court since August. The former World No.13 retired mid-match during her Cincinnati Masters second round clash against Jelena Ostapenko, and has been on a hiatus ever since.
