Former world no. 1 Jim Courier believes that the three-time Major champion
Naomi Osaka can win ten notable titles, especially if she stays healthy in the upcoming years.
Naomi hugged the short 2020 campaign, entering only four WTA tournaments and winning her third Major crown at the US Open. The Japanese lost the Australian Open crown following a tough Cori Gauff loss and experienced an even worst one against Sara Sorribles Tormo in the Fed Cup.
Protesting the police shooting of Jacob Blake, Naomi refused to play the Cincinnati semi-final encounter versus Elise Mertens in August, canceling the entire day of action and returning a day later. Osaka won the US Open final over Victoria Azarenka in three sets in the season's last event, lifting the third Major trophy at a young age.
"If Naomi can stay healthy, it seems very likely she will win another five to ten Majors because she has that all-court game right. She is very focussed, very put together, very professional. Naomi has to stay healthy, and she should have an amazing career both on and off the court," Jim Courier said.
