Krejcikova makes winning return in Tallinn against Tomljanovic

Barbora Krejcikova made a winning return to tennis as the Czech player smashed Ajla Tomljanovic in Tallinn 6-1 7-6(3).

The Czech player missed a big chunk of the season early as she dealt with injuries sustained during the Australian Summer. It's been quite poor once she returned to tour and even play on her preferred surface of clay suffered.

She is back now again and this time around it was a very strong win over a solid player in Tomljanovic. The Czech player played a furious opening set smashing the ball hard from the baseline which Tomljanovic could not handle.

The Croatian felt the pressure in that one opting for stronger servers but she only committed more double faults so it did not work. It did work much better in the second set as she was able to hold her serve much easier. She even broke Krejcikova towards the end of the set but lost her serve when serving for the set 6-5.

Krejcikova then closed it out 7-3 in the tiebreak.
