The North American duo of Leylah Fernandez and Taylor Townsend will face an extremely tough test in their Roland Garros (French Open) campaign, as they square off against Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula in the semifinals.
Fernandez and Townsend have been a surprisingly successful pairing since they began their partnership a few months ago, reaching the semifinals in Madrid last month.

Fast becoming a fan favorite team, the North Americans defeated the Chinese team of Chan and Chan to reach their first Grand Slam semifinal as a duo. They will face the American pairing of Gauff and Pegula, whom they fell to in the final of the Miami Open in April.
