Leylah Fernandez to spearhead Team Canada at Billie Jean King Cup

US Open runner-up Leylah Fernandez has been selected to lead Team Canada at the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup, with the Canadians looking to lift their first trophy at the event.
Fernandez will be joined by compatriots Rebecca Marino, Francoise Abanda and Gabriela Dabrowski. Team Canada will be competing in Group A, alongside top seed France and the Russian Tennis Federation.
The Billie Jean King Cup is being held at the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic and will run from November 1-6, 2021.
