With
Roland Garros (French Open) nearing it's conclusion, former World No.1
Ana Ivanovic was caught reminiscing about her 2008 title run in Paris.
The retired tennis player won her only Grand Slam title at the 2008
French Open, climbing to World No.1 by virtue of that victory. Ivanovic took to social media on Wednesday to share some images from the final, as she seemed to reflect on her first Major title.
"One of my favorite matches and moments to think back on in my career," she wrote on Twitter.
Ivanovic defeated Russian Daria Safina 6-4 6-3 in that match, etching her name in Roland Garros history. The Serbian announced her retirement in December 2016, only one month after she turned 29 and is currently a UNICEF ambassador.
