We will have a repeat of last year's Porsche Tennis Grand Prix final as Iga Swaitek will face Aryna Sabalenka following the retirement of Ons Jabeur against the Polish player down 0-3.
Swiatek has been playing really well so far in Stuttgart but today's match was a rather short one as Ons Jabeur took a medical timeout after the first game. The trainer worked on her calf which clearly gave her trouble and prevented her from moving properly. It was heavily taped after that MTO but it was clear pretty quickly that she would not be able to go.
Down 0-3, Jabeur retired. Swiatek to face Sabalenka in a rematch of last year's final which Swiatek won.
