Osaka set for biggest ranking drop since 2014 amid pregnancy

Naomi Osaka is not playing tennis because she's pregnant but she wasn't playing that much before that either causing a massive drop in the rankings which will produce her lowest ranking since 2014.

Osaka has been unfocused on tennis for over a year now with the Japanese player simply not looking very focused on it now. It comes as a huge disappointment to many fans who believed Osaka to be the player to dominate tennis moving forward. It all started with the mental health issues that she overcome but now she's away from tennis due to becoming pregnant.

Her ranking has been slowly dropping as the points from her previous events are starting to come off and her largest remaining chunk is from the Miami Open where she surprisingly played in the final last year. When those final points come off after the Miami Open, Osaka will find herself ranked around the 300th place which would be the lowest in almost a decade.
