Today the ATP and WTA tournament for the Western & Southern Open will start this afternoon in Cincinnati.
While the
prize money for the men's tournament in Cincinnati has increased by more than $1 million compared to last year, women will receive the same rewards as in 2018.
Big names such as Djokovic, Federer and Nadal will participate in the 2019 Western & Southern
Cincinnati Open. But even the best female ladies like Osaka, Barty and Halep will take part in women's draw.
Not surprisingly, in the male part of the draw, there will be more than $6 million in the prize pool and almost $3 million in women's tournament.
Of course, the biggest cut will be for the winners of both competitions. Male winner will earn more than $1.1 million and the best woman will get about $500 000.
