Quarterfinal results for 2020 Virtual Madrid Open

Already after 3 days, Virtual Madrid Open shows that it's a great event and we still have the final day ahead. In men's part of the draw, quarterfinal results were much more dominant than in women's part and so we have a lot to look forward to.

In the first match of the day, Andy Murray dominated the match against Alexander Zverev by winning it 6-1. He was later followed by Stefanos Tsitsipas who outplayed David Ferrer 6-2.

In the evening session, Diego Schwartzman kicked things off with a 6-3 victory over Fabio Fognini. And David Goffin ended quarterfinal matches with 6-0 victory over Benoit Paire.

In the women's part, things were much more interesting. Kiki Bertens needed 10 games to defeated Belinda Bencic as the Dutch triumphed 6-4. Sorana Cirstea and Bianca Andreescu reached tie-break, where the Romanian triumphed.

Caroline Wozniacki showed the only dominant result in women's draw as she defeated Johanna Konta 6-0. On the other hand, Fiona Ferro defeated Donna Vekic in full 13 games, 7-6.
