Although she is approaching the twilight of her career, American Venus Williams is still regarded as a threat by even the top players of the WTA.
The 39-year old is the winner of seven Grand Slam singles titles, 14 Grand Slam doubles titles and two Grand Slam mixed doubles trophies. Williams is also a former World No.1, and has captured

Despite dropping the first set, Williams battled back to win the match 4-6 7-6(4) 9-7 and claim her third Wimbledon title.
