Raducanu and Swiatek: a Centre Court clash you won't want to miss at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix

The race for the 2024 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix title heats up on Friday, as defending champion Iga Swiatek resumes her journey for a hat-trick of titles at the event. The defending champion will take on 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu in what is sure to be a mouthwatering clash on Centre Court.

Prior to Swiatek taking the court, fourth seed Elena Rybakina will kick off proceedings. The former Wimbledon champion will battle Jasmine Paolini first on Centre Court, with the Italian playing some of her best tennis this season.

The quarterfinals will feature a clash of Grand Slam champions, as reigning Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka takes on reigning Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova in what is sure to be an entertaining encounter. Vondrousova has been dealing with injuries this season, but will undoubtedly bring the fight to the World No.2.

Swiatek will face Raducanu in one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament. The British star looked superb in her victory over Linda Noskova, but has yet to face anyone as challenging as the World No.1.

The final match of the day will pit reigning US Open champion Coco Gauff battle Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk. In what is likely to be a hard-hitting encounter, Kostyuk will look to exact her revenge on the American, who ousted her at this year's Australian Open.
