America’s tennis star Coco Gauff has stated that if she gets
another life, she would like to become a basketball player and guard young
sensation, Caitlin Clark. The 22-year-old is regarded as the next big thing in basketball
and sports lovers are already waiting to see her shine the WNBA next season. Gauff was recently quoted in a report where she revealed her father’s wish to see her become a basketball player, something she
would want to try if she would get another life.
"It's funny because my dad was actually talking about
that," said Gauff. "He was, like, 'You would have been right up
there. You would have been a sophomore. I would have had you shooting Js and
everything.' Yeah, I don't know if I would be that type of player, but I will
say if I could go in another life I would love to play at the same time as
Caitlin Clark just to see if I could guard her. Obviously, now I definitely
couldn't, but I don't know, if I trained for it, [I] just [want] to see."

Gauff further went on to state that it is an exciting time for
women’s basketball. "It's very exciting to see the women's game especially
in basketball getting as much traction now," Gauff said. "They
definitely deserve it. I've been Instagram mutuals with some of the girls.
Cameron Brink just signed with New Balance. And Angel Reese, had some DMs with
her, and same with Caitlin and Paige Bueckers."
