If reports are to be believed Emma Raducanu will be in action in June in China taking part in an exhibition event alongside Juan Martin Del Potro and some legends.
Raducanu is currently away from tennis after undergoing triple surgery to fix an ankle issue alongside with issues in both wrists. The Brit didn't specify when she might be back but it was clear that the surgeries would certainly keep her away for a while. It seems like she will make a return in June at an exhibition event that will run from the 22nd of June till the 25th.
Raducanu return?
An exhibition event called the International Tennis Masters tournament will be played from June 22nd till the 25th in Hangzhou in China. Emma Raducanu is set to be part of it though it's unlikely that she will play. The reports are not specifying whether she'll just attend or play but considering the proximity of the surgeries it seems unlikely that she would actually step onto the court.
The event itself will host a couple of other big names alongside Raducanu. Former player Juan Martin Del Potro will also be there and it doesn't seem likely that he will play either. He did flirt with a comeback later this year at the US Open but he doesn't seem ready to actually play now. Other names that will attend include former player Carlos Moya and Marat Safin.
