With the inclement weather leading to rain delays at the
Canadian Open (National Bank Open) in Montreal, tennis star
Coco Gauff has given some background information on how she spends her time during these waits.
Due to abundant rains in the area, most matches have been disrupted and Gauff took to social media to talk about these delays ahead of her fourth-round clash against friend and doubles partner Jessica Pegula.
Downtime involves a lot of card games and naps
The 19-year old pointed out how the rain caused her to change courts on multiple occasions. Furthermore, she mentioned how she played card games and took a nap to pass time till play was able to resume.
"3 court changes. 8 hours of rain. 1 nap. A couple card games. a lot of waiting. and a dub later #rainydelays," wrote the American phenom.
Gauff is coming off the biggest title win of her career, as she captured the title at last week's DC Open in Washington.
