Usually a key stopping point en route to the French Open, the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix continues to welcome star studded names with Aryna Sabalenka, the Australian Open champion set for her third consecutive appearance on the clay in Stuttgart.
Joining her is Caroline Garcia as well as the previously announced defending champion, Iga Swiatek all for a WTA 500 event which takes place in the middle week of April.
"I’m really looking forward to Stuttgart and the fantastic atmosphere in the Porsche Arena. I’ve always felt at home there. Maybe third time lucky! I’d love to win the Porsche," Sabalenka said, per the tournament's press release.
In 2021, she reached the final in Stuttgart losing to Ashleigh Barty in three sets before losing to Iga Swiatek last year and will look to go one better this time having a Grand Slam under her belt.
