Former world number one American
Serena Williams’ husband Alexis
Ohanian has announced his intention to grow a mullet for the next year.
The 40-year-old announced the development in a post on his
official account on social media platform X — previously known as Twitter — where
he talked about his plans for 2024 and also highlighted that he was inspired by
American tennis player J.J. Wolf. “I'm growing a mullet for 2024. JJ Wolf
inspired me,” he wrote.
Serena is regarded as the greatest player in the history of tennis
in the women’s singles category in the Open era, having won as many as 23 Grand
Slam titles. She announced her retirement from the sport last year after struggling
with fitness concerns.
Serena’s most successful competition was the Australian Open

Her last major title came in Melbourne in 2017 where she
lifted the Australian Open where she defeated her sister Venus in the final with
a score of 6–4, 6–4. Other than that, Serena also won four Olympic gold medals
for her country, three of them came in the doubles category whereas one came in
the singles category.
