Anastasija Sevastova and Anett Kontaveit won the Fed Cup Heart Award for the Fed Cup Qualifiers and the Euro/Africa group.
The first award went to the player from the Fed Cup Qualifiers. 16 countries fought in 8 qualifying matchups and almost 17 000 fans chose a player to win the Heart Award. They chose
Anastasija Sevastova for her great performance against Serena Williams.
The Latvian also received a $3,000 cheque which she could have donated to the charity of her choice. “I'm very honoured to be included in the Fed Cup Heart Award this year. It's a great achievement and privilege.” The cheque will go to the Latvian food bank - Paedusai Latvijai.
Another 3 winners were from Euro/Africa, Asia/Oceania and America group. In the Euro/Africa group, fans voted for
Anett Kontaveit. In Asia/Oceania, Sania Mirza took the prize and Fernanda Contreras Gomez triumphed in America group.

I want to donate the money that I get from this award to the
Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as the world is going through very difficult times with the virus.”
