"She really looks mortal now" - Jon Wertheim on Iga Swiatek

Sports journalist Jon Wertheim analyzed the play of Iga Swiatek for the tennis channel and he admitted that she looks mortal now.

Iga Swiatek won her first match in Cincinnati but she lost the second one to Madison Keys and it marked the 3rd event in a row that she played without reaching the final. In itself, it's not a big deal but considering how consistent she was earlier in the year, it's rather surprising. For Wertheim it's proof that she's beatable:

"She really looks mortal now. She'll have 10 days or so and then we'll see what she can do on the hard courts of New York. Once we moved off the clay in the French Open, where she wasn't just winning matches, I mean there were stints where she was absolutely unplayable. That 37-match streak is one of the greatest streaks in modern tennis history."

Swiatek complained earlier about the balls using describing them as too light as she struggled with her control in the past few events.
