It appears most Formula One drivers are golf fans, as a recent survey showed that the majority of them would rather learn golf than tennis from a legend of each sport.
The Formula One racers are currently in Florida for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix, which is the fifth round of the 2022 Formula One World Championship. In a fun survey, they were asked several questions, one of which included whether they like to receive a tennis lesson from WTA legend
Serena Williams or a golf lesson from golfing icon Tiger Woods.
Several of the F1 drivers opted to go with golf, including Guanyu Zhou, Kevin Magnussen, Sergio Perez, Esteban Ocon, Lando Norris, and Lance Stroll, choose to learn golf from Woods. Even Alex Albon chose Woods and took a dig at his girlfriend. He said, “My girlfriend does not teach me anything.”
However, there were also a few exceptions, as the two-time world champion Fernando Alonso chose to learn tennis from Selena. Additionally, the Mercedes youngster George Russell picked learning tennis from the 23-time Grand Slam champion.
