The 2020 edition of the GSB Thailand open has been an interesting tournament so far and today's schedule of play continues that trend with Svitolina headlining it.

The GSB Thailand Open schedule of play shows four matches on today's program. It should live up to the previous days as the world number 4 is playing. The program, however, will be opened by Wang and Haas. It's an intriguing matchup between two player's who are similarly ranked (134 Wang vs 140 Haas). It's also interesting that they never played before so the Thailand crowd will see an exciting match.
After them, we will have Linette and Peng on the courts. Peng is a good tennis player but she has struggled a bit lately hence her ranking being outside of the top 100. Linette, on the other hand, has always been solid and even so far this season she is just that. They played once before 3 years ago but Peng retired prior to the match.
The 3rd match of the day is between Tig and You. Both tennis players are unknown to the wider tennis public as they usually play in lesser tournaments. They did play recently in an ITF event in Thailand where Tig won 5-7 6-3 6-2. The Thailand crowd can expect a similar match with a lot of fight.
The program will be closed with the main event of the day. The Thailand crowd will get to see Elina Svitolina for her match with Storm Sanders. The world number four never played against Sanders who curiously found herself in this tournament after a good run through the qualifications. Elina will presumably have no issues and continue her bid for the trophy. It's a good reward so she will definitely be motivated.
