Swiatek named as one of TIME's 100 Most Influential People for 2023

World No.1 Iga Swiatek has been honored as one of the 100 Most Influential People of 2023, according to Time Magazine.
The Polish star joins other leaders and sporting icons on that list, including US President Joe Biden, Pop megastar Beyonce, soccer legend Leo Messi and NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes.
Conceived in 1999, the TIME 100 recognizes people who have moved the needle in various industries and across different cultures. Swiatek was included in the "Innovators" category.
American skier Mikaela Shiffrin was also included in the list, honored in the "Pioneers" group, Swiatek and Shiffrin have developed a strong friendship over the last few years, with the duo hosting a chat session on Instagram Live.
