Emma Raducanu became a big celebrity after her win at the US Open but the Brit is determined not to allow her off-court commitments to get in the way of tennis.
Becoming a grand slam champion has its benefits as Emma Raducanu found out. The Brit became one of the hottest names in the world of endorsements with many brands fighting for the young superstar. Despite the newfound celebrity status, the teenager is determined to keep working on her tennis stressing that the game is her priority.
She said:
“I made it very, very clear to every single person in my team that I was not going to cancel one training session or practice session for any off-court commitments. I wanted to make sure that that is my priority, and it is. so everyone's clear about that. But it's just managing my time with the commitments around that."
Even so, Raducanu was clear to point out that she has been rather busy since the US Open it's something she has enjoyed:
"I have been quite busy since the US Open, but I felt like that was
gonna come with it and like, I didn't expect as much but yeah, I've been
really enjoying everything since the US Open. It's been quite a roller coaster in terms of like where I started to where I'm finishing."
