Novak Djokovic won the Rolex
Paris Masters over Daniil Medvedev and by doing so the Serbian emerged as the new Masters King having won 37 overall.
It's official, nobody won more Masters events than Novak Djokovic. The Serbian played a brilliant match to come back and win against Daniil Medvedev winning the Paris Masters. That trophy was his 37th ATP 1000 Masters win which propelled him to the number one spot ahead, Nadal and Federer of course. Entering this event, Djokovic had 36 just like Rafael Nadal with the chance of getting his 37th.
By doing that he became the sole leader in that category with Nadal being 2nd with 36 and Federer 3rd with 28. Those numbers are brutal when put into perspective and it's just another achievement on the ridiculously long resume of Novak Djokovic as he continues his pursuit for the greatest of all time status. This is one he would like to keep. Will he, find out in 2022.
