"The biggest match you have to play but you will overcome": Halep receives vote of confidence from former manager amid doping saga

The former manager of Simona Halep Virginia Ruzici has given her a vote of confidence believing that she is innocent in the very public doping saga.

The Romanian player has been recently hit with a second doping violation due to some irregularities in her biological passport and the response was mixed. Some were stunned that the ITIA was able to find another suspicious thing in regards to Halep while others firmly came out in support of her believing all of this to be some sort of a 'witch hunt'.

Her former manager is in the latter camp posting a statemenet on social media:

"I know how strong and honest you are and therefore, I am sure that you will get through these difficult times. This is certainly the biggest match you have to play but you will overcome."

Halep's case remains complicated an unresolved with a hearing postponed once more leaving the Romanian devastated. It seems unlikely that she will play this year at all.
