The entry list for the WTA AMT Acapulco is headlined by Stephens and Williams

The AMT Acapulco entry list is headlined by American duo Stephens and Williams. Sadly for the Acapulco crowd, no top 20 players will attend the event. One of the more famous names attending will be Venus Williams. The 2-time champion will return and try to win the trophy after the last winning in it in 2010.

Another former champion which is also American is Sloane Stephens. She won the event back in 2016 and will try to do it this time again. After Madison Keys pulled out of the tournament she became the number 1 seed. That bodes well for her intentions but she will have to confirm that on the court.

Wang Yafan in the 2nd seed at the AMT Acapulco and is also the defending champion. She will face some tough opposition in order to win it again but the field isn't as strong as it used to be.
