Former world number one America’s
Serena Williams has
revealed how she is using her breast milk to treat sunburn.
The 42-year-old retired last year from professional tennis
to give more time to her family after the birth of a daughter. Serena
was recently quoted in a report where she revealed how she is using her breast milk to treat sunburn.
"So I completely got burned under my eye," she
said. "Don't ask [about my sensitive skin. "I was in the sun ... long
story. Anyways, I'm trying some breast milk. It works for my kid — they say put
breast milk on everything and I have a lot extra, so I'm gonna try it for a
week or so under my eye and see how it goes.
"I mean, it already feels better, because — it
hurts!" Williams said of her uncomfortable burn. "All right, I'll let
you guys know how it goes."
Serena is often regarded as the greatest player in the
history of women’s singles tennis in the Open era, having won 23 Grand Slams.
Not only that she also won four Olympic gold medals for her country — three in
the doubles category and one in the singles category in the 2012 edition.
