Australian tennis star Ajla Tomljanovic will not be competing at this year's Roland Garros, as she is yet to recover from a knee surgery.
The 30-year old was hoping to make a return to the WTA tour after undergoing surgery on her knee, and had set the French Open as a potential return point. However, her medical hiatus will likely be extended, as she has not been medically cleared to compete in Paris.

Tomljanovic has not played a match since last November and was forced to miss her home Grand Slam at the Australian Open. Following her withdrawal from Roland Garros, the Australian will be replaced by a lucky loser who is beaten in this week's qualifiers.
