Danielle Collins defeated Elena Rybakina 7-5, 6-3 last year to seal a shock title and start a superb run for the American in a career revival which saw her become one of the best players in the world for a time.
Collins at the time was set to retire but will return to defend her title. It has been part of an unexpected few years with Petra Kvitova also winning in 2023. Aryna Sabalenka will be top seed this time. She is joined by Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, Mirra Andreeva and Jasmine Paolini among others.
This year sees slight increases with the winner taking home $1,124,380 with 1000 points. $597,890 for reaching the final. While for reaching the semi-finals, it is $332,160.
