Upper Austria Ladies' Linz 2020 Saturday Schedule of Play

The Upper Austria Ladies' Linz is coming to a close with the semifinal day on Saturday that will feature two very interesting matches.

The Saturday schedule of play at the Upper Austria Ladies' Linz is will feature two very interesting semifinal matches. Play is set to start at 14:30 and the first semifinal match will be between Alexandrova and Mertens. Both players found themselves in the semifinal thanks to some stellar play and while Alexandrova cruised to the semifinal Mertens to overcome some difficulties to be here. Nonetheless, it will be a very good match between two players who played great tennis and prefer and attacking style of play.

The level of tennis will not drop for the 2nd semifinal as we will have Aryna Sabalekna take on Barbora Krejcikova. Sabalenka has been great all week and yesterday against Dodin she got a bit of a pass when Dodin retired in the 2nd set. She had no difficulties reaching the semifinal and she will be looking to add another title as she did in Ostrava a few weeks back. Krejcikova also played great tennis all week long and her solid form is dating back to the Roland Garros. It will be hard for the Czech player but she is not one to go down without a fight and Sabalenka will need to be careful in this one.
