The
Sofia Open is at it's end and there is only one match remaining to be played and it will be
Jannik Sinner vs
Vasek Pospisil.
The end of the last ATP event that is not the ATP Finals is upon us with the final of the Sofia Open scheduled to be played today at 14:00 CET. The two best players this week were Jannik Sinner and Vasek Pospisil. Jannik Sinner has been playing spectacular tennis all week and he found himself in the final following
a victory against Mannarino yesterday. He dropped only one set en route to the final playing a very attacking style of play as he prefers it that way.
His opponent in the final, Vasek Pospisil, played a great event as well but he dropped two sets en route to the final. His toughest match was in the first round where he nearly lost to Marchenko and some would argue that he deserved to lose that match. Somehow he pulled through and now he will have a chance to win the title. It won't be easy as he will be going against a player playing in his first final with a great future ahead of him. The odds favour Sinner which is expected and this will be their first match. It's hard to say what might happen especially if Pospisil serves the way he can but the crowd will enjoy the match either way.
