VIDEO: Andreescu shows first look at rehab including walking dog Coco

Former World No.4 Bianca Andreescu appears to be making a good recovery from the horrific injury suffered this week at the 2023 Miami Open.

The Canadian sustained an ankle injury in her round of 16 match against Ekaterina Alexandrova, and was in tears as she was carted off the court in a wheelchair.

Andreescu later provided fans with an update, saying she was doing better. The 2019 US Open champion subsequently posted a video on social media that showed her walking her dog, then performing some simple stretch exercises in the gym.

"WE OUTSIDE!!!," Andreescu tweeted.

Although she has not mentioned when she's likely to return, Andreescu seems to be on the positive side of her recovery process.
