Emma Raducanu confirmed her participation in the Transylvania Open with a video message shared by the event's Twitter page.
Raducanu made her debut at the event last year and it was a special experience for her. She hails from Romania on her father's side so it was an important event for her to take part in. She promised to be back and she will.
Raducanu made a video for the social media platforms of the event to confirm her participation this year. In the video she said:
"Hey. I had a really fun time last year in Cluj. The people were amazing and made me feel so welcome. I'm really excited and happy to say that I will be coming back again this year. Whenever I can I love to go back to Romania. That's where my dad came from and I have so many positive memories from there so ne ve dem, see you soon."
