Karolina Pliskova has not played in a few months due to an injury but the Czech player is back onto the courts.
Pliskova injured her hand late last season which forced her to sit out a few events including the WTA Finals but the Czech player was hoping to get back on track in Australia. However, a setback in December forced her to abandon those plans of returning and prolonged her recovery by some time. Back then she released a statement saying:
"Unfortunately I hurt my right hand in practice yesterday and I won't be able to play in Adelaide, Sydney and the Australian Open this year."
However, she recently posted a video of herself back on the courts hinting at a return to action soon but did not disclose when exactly she would be back. It's presumed that she is still a few weeks out but fans will be excited to see the 2021 Wimbledon finalist back on the courts.
