Daria Kasatkina was left hilariously perplexed at the drying machines used on court in order to clean up the rain during delays at the
Cincinnati Open.
Kasatkina lost out to Aryna Sabalenka who was even at times drying parts of the court missed by the machines with her towel. This proved to be a good tactic as she used the delays to her advantage winning through.
But Kasatkina was left in awe at a machine which isn't used at other tournaments with others just using scrapers to clean up the rain, using a roof or putting a tarp over the court as it rains.
It has also raised with the issues as of late in Montreal too the debate of roofs for the tournaments outside the Grand Slams with many being handicapped when it comes to weather and having no route at times to complete a tournament.
