Emma Raducanu may have suffered the most humiliating defeat of her career at the hands of
Elena Rybakina at the
Sydney Tennis Classic, but the British sensation was quick to recover as she made a beeline for the training courts right after the match.
The reigning US Open champion was beaten 6-0 6-1 by Rybakina in just 55 minutes in her first match of the season. Despite the heavy defeat, Raducanu displayed a positive attitude and refused to be too disheartened by the loss.
Under the guidance of her new coach Torben Beltz, the 19-year old returned to the courts to train soon after the resounding defeat. With the
Australian Open less than a week away, Raducanu has limited time to fine-tune her game and correct any mistakes.
