Women's Draw confirmed for 2023 Wimbledon including Swiatek, Sabalenka, Rybakina, Pegula, Gauff

The WTA draw has been confirmed for 2023 Wimbledon which will take place between July 3-16 on the famous courts of the All England Lawn and Tennis Club.

Elena Rybakina is the defending champion after defeating Ons Jabeur in the final last year. But the Kazakh has struggled with an illness since Roland Garros. She faces Shelby Rogers to open up.

Iga Swiatek will be top seed but despite reaching the latter stages in Bad Homburg on the week prior to Wimbledon is an unknown quantity on grass. She will Zhu Lin in the opening round.

Coco Gauff will face former Australian Open champion, Sofia Kenin who had to come through qualifying.

Jessica Pegula opens up against Lauren Davis. Ons Jabeur after reaching the final last year opens up against Magdalena Frech.

Second seed Aryna Sabalenka will face Panna Udvardy on her return to Wimbledon after the ban last year prevented her from playing.

Venus Williams will face Elina Svitolina in one of the standout first rounds.

Former two time champion Petra Kvitova opens up against Jasmine Paolini.

Maria Sakkari faces Marta Kostyuk with the winner set to potentially face Paula Badosa in the second round.

After reaching the final of Roland Garros, Karolina Muchova will face Jule Niemeier on her return to the court.
