The WTA Prize Money Leaders have been updated with the WTA Finals currently commencing in Riyadh. This has prevented the top eight from changing, but lower down a plethora of WTA 250 events have seen changes throughout the rankings.

Top 10 remains relatively untouched

Aryna Sabalenka leads with $12,313,519 with Iga Swiatek her closest rival in second with $9,417,532. A brace of Americans in the form of Coco Gauff and Amanda Anisimova sit in third and fourth, with recent titles keeping them nice and high in the rankings. It is a sizeable gap before finally reaching Jasmine Paolini and Mirra Andreeva, who remain seated behind them. Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys and Elena Rybakina all queue up behind the top six. There is potential for big movement inside the top 10 after the WTA Finals come to a close, with a prize pool of $15.5 million ready to be split between the eight stars.
There has been no change in the top 10 in terms of ranking, with all of them preparing for the WTA Finals. The only player to compete was Swiss star Belinda Bencic, who remained in 10th after gaining $6,815 to her tally after withdrawing from the Hong Kong Open quarter-finals. She finishes with $2,609,769, extending her advantage over Naomi Osaka in 11th on $2,515,892.

Canadian duo move up

You have to go right down to 29th where Leylah Fernandez moves up a place after her semi-final appearance in Hong Kong. She adds $11,970 to her winnings with her now on $1,645,046, resulting in her leapfrogging Qinwen Zheng who continues to miss out after persistent elbow problems.
Closely behind her, Anna Kalinskaya ($6,815) and Cristina Bucsa ($21,484) also climb the rankings one place. Bucsa reaps the rewards from a maiden WTA final, going above former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova.
Further down and the biggest gainer turns out to be the Hong Kong Open champion Victoria Mboko, who earnt $36,300 after defeating the Spaniard in the final for her second WTA title this year. She moves up one place to 37th after this sum of money is added to her tally, rising it to $1,444,890. Very impressive from the 19-year-old, who finds herself in good company after a breakthrough second half to the 2025 campaign. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is the player to be overtaken.
Former Wimbledon semi-finalist Donna Vekic also moves up one slot into 43rd, overtaking Dayana Yastremska after the Croation culminated at the quarter-finals in the Chennai Open. Overall, it has been a quiet week in terms of prize money being earnt, with many players shifting their focus to the riches they could win at the start of 2026. However, some players are still making full use of the remaining tournaments this year, with Fernandez and Mboko the big winners.
