WTA Race to Fort Worth: Kudermetova only mover inside top 10

The WTA Race to Forth Worth is still going on but not many changes happened in the past week as most big players skipped events.

There was some slight movement in the WTA Race to Forth Worth with Veronika Kudermetova moving up from number 10 to number 9. The Russian was the only mover inside the top 10 and she made a solid move to ensure her place at the end-of-season event.

The player in front of her is Simona Halep but she won't play at this event after undergoing nose surgery to allow her to breathe better. Maria Sakkari was the player that dropped down but she is in action this week so she might overtake Kudermetova next week.

On top are still Swiatek and Jabeur with both of them pretty safe for the event. Next up we Pegula, Gauff, Garcia, Sabalenka and Kasatkina. Most of them will probably be in Forth Worth but they haven't secured enough points to be considered safe.

Players that are in the pursuit are Paula Badosa who is currently 11th and both she and Muguruza find themselves out of the Finals at the moment. It's interesting because they contested the final of the event. Check out the standing below.
