Caroline Garcia made a 13-spot jump in the WTA Race as she remains firmly in play for the WTA Finals later this year.
Caroline Garcia became the first qualifier ever to win a premier WTA 1000 trophy and she did in Cincinnati by several great players. In the final it as Petra Kvitova who could not solve the Garcia riddle and thanks to that win, the French player is in the top 10 of the WTA Race.
Her and Sabalenka moving in are the only changes in the race as Garcia is 9th and Sabalenka is now 10th. On top, it's still Swiatek, followed by Jabeur, Pegula, Halep, Gauff, Kasatkina, Sakkari and Badosa. Emma Raducanu also won a couple of matches and she moved up to number 59 after an 8-spot rise. The most important week is coming up for Raducanu as she defends 2040 points in New York.
