WTA Ranking Update: Linette moves by 27 positions, Osaka no.1 ahead of US Open

As the top players were resting ahead of the upcoming US Open, Magda Linette, a qualifier at the Bronx Open won her first WTA title and moved to career-high in rankings.
Unlike men, there was one change in women's TOP 10. Aryna Sabalenka dropped out of the TOP 10 as she won the tournament in New Haven last year and failed to defend her points this year because she didn't attend the Bronx Open.
Because of this, 2017 US Open champion, Sloane Stephens moved again into the TOP 10.
The biggest shift was recorded by both the qualifier and the champion at the Bronx Open, Magda Linette, who moved to the 53rd place.
