The Wuhan Open is due to take place between 12-18 October and is one of the main WTA 1000 tournaments of the season as we head towards the conclusion slowly but surely.

Coco Gauff is defending champion and for the most part, it is many of the big guns albeit Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula are among those who have had issues with injury as of late.

But other than that, it is Elena Rybakina who leads the way. Others involved include Coco Gauff, Mirra Andreeva, Linda Noskova, Elina Svitolina and Karolina Muchova. This goes after the China Open.
