American tennis stars
Jessica Pegula and
Frances Tiafoe are never shy when it comes to praising the other, and tennis broadcaster Blair Henley delved into the duo's relationship, with emphasis on Tiafoe's admiration for his WTA counterpart.
Tiafoe and Pegula represented the United States at the
United Cup in January, steering the team to victory alongside Taylor Fritz, Madison Keys and Alycia Parks at the inaugural edition of the event.
In a clip shared by a fan on social media, Henley spoke about an encounter she had with Tiafoe, where she mentioned she would be covering Pegula at the
Billie Jean King Cup. Tiafoe, in typical fashion, responded by saying Henley would be hanging out with 'the GOAT Pegula."
"Big Foe's calling jpeg GOAT Pegula Imao this guy is so funny," read the post.
Henley would state that the entire US United Cup team referred to Pegula as the GOAT, which indicates how much respect they all have for the World No.3.
"I was like yes, I do get to hang out, well I actually don't know we're going to do any hanging out, but I get to at least spend a little bit of time with the person that apparently Frances and the rest of the United Cup Team refers to as the G.O.A.T. Pegula," said Henley.
