Zheng Qinwen shines in WTA brand photoshoot and rubs shoulders with Pink

Zheng Qinwen grabbed social media attention with her latest WTA photoshoot. The Paris 2024 gold medallist remains a key tournament star despite a recent slump, winning only one of her last four matches.
Since defeating Anca Todoni at the Australian Open, the former world No. 5 has suffered three consecutive losses: to Laura Siegemund in the second round in Melbourne, Ons Jabeur in Doha, and Peyton Stearns in Dubai.
The Chinese player has already dropped several spots in the rankings, currently sitting at world No. 9. With her top-10 status at risk, she needs a strong Sunshine Double campaign to turn things around.
The 22-year-old remains one of the biggest stars on tour and a fan favourite. As part of the WTA’s new brand relaunch campaign, Zheng took the spotlight in a recent photoshoot, sporting a summer-inspired white dress paired with black accessories.

Recently, Zheng also turned heads at the Desert Smash Celebrity Tennis Event, where she met singer Pink and actress Yvonne Orji after playing an exhibition match alongside Ons Jabeur.
The Chinese star was later spotted practicing on court as she gears up for her Friday debut against former world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka. The Belarusian has won both of their previous encounters and is coming off a victory over Clervie Ngounoue. With that win, Azarenka became the player with the most WTA 1000 main draw victories since the format’s introduction in 2009, reaching an impressive 159 wins.
