2019 US Open Men’s Order of Play: Saturday 31 August

Saturday, 31 August 2019 at 13:00

The schedule has been released for today's bumper session of action as the second week approaches at the US Open and Rafael Nadal highlights proceedings at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.

He will face a resurgent Hyeon Chung who produced an excellent display to come from the brink against Fernando Verdasco; all of his matches have gone the distance so far, can he do the same against Nadal.

Following that will be the so called bad boy of tennis, Nick Kyrgios who faces off against the very in-form Andrey Rublev in what is bound to be a must watch.

Alexander Zverev will headline on the Louis Armstrong Stadium, the number six seed's next test will be the former Brit, Aljaz Bedene. The current no.80 is having his best run at Flushing Meadows and after seeing off Benoit Paire, he will hope for an even bigger upset.

Also Gael Monfils will face Denis Shapovalov. Another potential cracker of a tie that has gone under the radar of sorts but with Denis back towards top form again, it could be tie of the round.

In addition, Marin Cilic, Diego Schwartzman and Matteo Berrettini also headline a cracking day of tennis as we begin to reach the business end of proceedings.
